We enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes every day, especially those with a spicy kick! We focus on making every dish flavorful by adding fresh spices while keeping the calorie count low. Our blog is a platform where we share our weight loss journey, fun recipes, and overall lifestyle. One thing we didn't want to give up was wine, so we decided to add our daily fruit requirements to our wine this week and made a white Sangria. We believe in eating healthily, but we also believe in enjoying life's little pleasures.

Healthy Diet!!!!

White Sangria Recipe

White Sangria

As focused individuals, we were determined to create the perfect White Sangria. We experimented with the recipe for two consecutive days to make it just perfect. The first time we made it, we realized that we were missing something as we didn't have any oranges, and we only used ¼ cup of brandy. Although it was delicious, it needed a little something extra. So, the next day, we decided to head to the grocery store and buy some oranges. If you follow our blog, you know that going to the grocery store is always an adventure for us. It's impossible to leave our house without at least 3 of our 4 dogs joining us. I remember one time I was gone for just 45 minutes, and when I returned, my dogs acted as if I had been gone for weeks. They wouldn't leave my side for hours.

We believe we have created the perfect White Sangria that's also low in calories. Though you can't really claim that an alcoholic drink is low in calories, we did reduce the amount of sugar compared to when we made it a few years ago. We believe that every little bit of calorie cutting helps.

What did we do?

To begin with, we opted for a Rosé Wine, although you can use any white wine of your choice. During summers, we love Rosé wines as a special treat, especially when added to a white Sangria - it tastes delicious!

Start by dissolving the Brandy in sugar and let it sit for 30 minutes. Next, slice the lemon, lime, and orange.

Cut and rinse two nectarines (or peaches). Rinse the raspberries and grapes. On the second day, we used strawberries instead of raspberries. They are both delicious.

Next, add the fruit to the brandy sugar mixture. Then, pour the wine and place the mixture in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Once the mixture has been chilled, stir in the club soda.

Now, it’s time for the best part of this white sangria!!!!

Add some ice to a glass of white sangria, and make sure you include some of the fruit in each glass.

Remember, this is a great way to incorporate fruit into your daily diet. Let us know how you enjoyed your white sangria and what kind of fruits you added to it.

Enjoy!!!
