The bacon wrap adds an irresistible crunch to the dish while also infusing a smoky flavor that complements the spiciness of the jalapeño. Overall, this dish is a must-try for anyone looking for a flavorful and satisfying appetizer that won't weigh them down
Years ago, we played a spicy joke on our friends. We met weekly at a pub and always ordered jalapeño poppers. Although everyone complained that they weren't spicy enough, we became friends with the pub owners. So, one day, we brought them a large bag of Habanero peppers to make the poppers for our gatherings. Let's just say that the night the Habanero poppers were served, nobody complained about the spice level. They were hot, and there were a few more beers consumed that night!
Jalapeño Poppers are so Simple!!
Making Air Fryer Jalapeño Poppers at home is easy and customizable. Plus, they taste better than store-bought versions. You can even use fresh habaneros from your garden for an extra kick!
Select Jalapeños that are between 3 to 4 inches long and are big enough to stuff.
Cut the peppers in half and cut the white part out of the pepper. In a bowl, mix cheese and cream cheese (we use whipped cream cheese) together. Next, fill the peppers with the cheese mixture.
Wrap the peppers with bacon, and use a toothpick to hold the bacon in place. Don't forget to remove the toothpick before serving!
Place the peppers in the air fryer, cook, and ENJOY!!!!
What to serve with the Poppers??
Poppers are a versatile and enjoyable snack, perfect for game day, TV watching, or outdoor activities. They pair well with other tasty appetizers, such as avocados, chips and salsa, Bloody Marys, and French fries.
