OK, you have to try Air Fryer Salmon Rangoon!!!! We're always looking for new appetizers to enjoy while binge-watching a great TV series or crazy reality show. Yeah, we watch the REALLY crazy reality shows!!! Or for just sitting in front of the outdoor fire pit.
I don't know about you, we always order rangoon as part of our takeout orders. Crab Rangoon stuffed with cream cheese...if they're on the menu, we're ordering them! Now, when you want this treat at home, (The Good News!) it's a super easy appetizer to make!!!

No need to make Rangoon wrappers, they can usually be found at the grocery store near the veggies or cheese section. I mean, if you have time, I'm sure homemade wrappers, like everything, are a little better. OK, not saying we're lazy....just gonna say, using the store-bought wrappers is a great way to save some time. 😉
Oh, and to make the Air Fryer Salmon Rangoon really easy, we used canned salmon. Yes, canned salmon!!! If you happen to have leftover salmon, it would be great for this recipe. We haven't used leftover salmon yet for this appetizer. We usually use all of the leftover salmon the next day to make it with a poached egg and have a very "fancy" breakfast!.
Salmon Rangoons are a great appetizer!
Mix together the salmon, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper. Only add the cayenne pepper if you want it spicy!
Place one Tablespoon of Salmon mixture on each wonton wrapper. Spray the edges of each wrapper.
Pinch the corners together. This is easier than it sounds.
Place in the air fryer for a few minutes and this fun appetizer is ready to eat. We did find they were awesome right out of the air fryer. Maybe popping one in my mouth as soon as it came out of the air fryer wasn't a great idea! It did kind of burn. These fun Salmon Rangoon are also great after they are cool.
The salmon rangoons or crab rangoons are both great appetizers for a party. They can be made ahead of time. Just toss in the air fryer before you want to eat them and this appetizer is ready in less than 10 minutes.
Air Fryer Salmon Rangoon
Ingredients
- 25 Wonton Wrappers
- 14.7 Ounces Salmon Canned
- 1 Cup Cream Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons Cayenne Pepper Optional
- Cooking Spray
Instructions
- Mix together Salmon, Cream Cheese, Salt, Garlic Power, and Cayenne Pepper. (only add Cayenne pepper if you want it spicy)
- Place 1 Tablespoon of the Salmon mixture on each Wonton
- Spray the edges of each wonton with cooking spray
- Pinch together corners of wontonsPinch all four corners together
- Spray the bottom of the air fryer with cooking spray
- Place the wontons in the air fryer
- Spray tops of wontons with cooking spray
- Cook wonton in an air fryer at 400 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Turn on your favorite TV show and Enjoy!!!!
