Our favorite meal of the day is Breakfast. For me, if I have a great breakfast it seems like I always feel better all day. Plus, it gives me the energy to really kick off the day. I have found if I have a great breakfast, and I'm super busy, I don't even notice if I missed lunch. These Air Fryer Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit Bombs are easy-to-make and (Bonus!) will keep you full all morning!
Biscuit Bombs
We used Pillsbury biscuits to make these biscuit bombs. But they can be made with homemade biscuit dough. The steps are so easy to make this great breakfast. (Don't forget to make extra and freeze them for those mornings when you are crazy busy and still want/need a great breakfast.) Just think you can eat them on the way to work or pop them in a toaster oven at work and make EVERYONE sooooooo jealous!
- To make these Biscuit Bombs all you have to do is make your favorite scrabbled eggs with sausage or follow our recipe below.
- Pull the top off the biscuit and flatten
- Place about ¼ cup of the cooked scrambled egg and sausage mixture onto the biscuit. Add cheese on top of the eggs and then add the other half of the biscuit on top. Pinch the sides to seal the biscuit together.
- Put in the air fryer on parchment paper. Spray with cooking spray and cook
- Remove from Air Fryer and ENJOY!!!
Tips:
- This can be made in your oven or toaster oven. Just follow the time and temperature of the biscuit container. It will take a few minutes longer in the oven than the air fryer.
- Use butter spray on the biscuits to help the biscuit brown and give a nice buttery flavor
- Substitute the Sausage for Bacon. OMG, it is good!!!!
- Freeze the biscuit bombs. Place them on parchment paper and put them in a single layer in a freezer bag. When ready to eat them place them in the air fryer or oven to cook.
- Spray the top of the Biscuit and sprinkle on some everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds! So Good!!
Other Favorite Breakfast
Ok, like I said we love Breakfast and why not make it the best time of the day? For my birthday every year, I request Sausage or Bacon Gravy with biscuits to start my day off. Now, for a really fun breakfast or dinner, you have to try Air Fryer Country Fried Steak. . .so good!!! Of course, if I want something sweet for breakfast I'm having Air Fryer French Toast.
