Are you in the mood for a yummy and healthy snack or dinner? Look no further than Air Fryer Spinach and Feta Meatballs! These little bites are so easy to whip up in the air fryer and are perfect for any occasion. Whether you're having a party, watching a game, or just enjoying a cozy night in with some Netflix and wine, these meatballs will hit the spot. Don't miss out on this scrumptious and satisfying dish!
During summer, we avoid using the oven to make meatballs due to the excessive heat it generates. Instead, we opt to use the air fryer, which takes less time and results in meatballs that are crispy outside and juicy inside. For an added burst of flavor, we recommend serving them up with a generous helping of tzatziki sauce. So good!!!
Spinach and Feta Meatballs
These Spinach and Feta Meatballs are quick to prepare and cook in the air fryer in under 15 minutes. Frozen spinach is recommended for this recipe as it is faster, but fresh spinach can also be used. Keep in mind that it takes a lot of fresh spinach to get 8 ounces of cooked spinach!
Mix all the ingredients together, including ground turkey, spinach, feta, garlic powder, and cumin.
After mixing the ingredients, form the meatballs into one-inch rounds. If making spinach feta meatballs, adjust the size and cooking time accordingly. Due to variations in Air Fryers, it's important to check for doneness.
Spray cooking spray in the air fryer basket. Cook meatballs at 400 degrees for 14 minutes, flipping halfway. Use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature. We like the Turkey meatballs, reach an internal temperature of 170 degrees. Meatballs are done at 165 degrees.
These delectable Spinach Feta Meatballs are best served with a side of Tzatziki sauce. The cool and refreshing garlicky sauce perfectly complements the warm and savory flavors of the meatballs. It's the ideal combination to tantalize your taste buds and leave you fully satisfied.
