Ok, yes we were sitting around trying to come up with some new pizza recipes and, wow!, we are so happy about this Chicken Cordon Bleu Pizza!! Pizza is always so much fun to make and especially eat. With our lifestyle changes it's hard to have pizza. YES! I'm not calling our weight loss journey a diet. A diet is a short time thing and sure it's great if you need to lose a few pounds. A "Lifestyle change", for us, is to be happy and not live in stress worrying about everything we do or what people think about us. We love to eat and oh my we are both stress eaters.
So, when I think of lifestyle change from a food perspective it means eating really good food that's lower in calories with a ton of flavor. Also, it has to be something that I enjoy having every bite of. I don't know about you, but when I get really good food I seem to eat it slower and savor every bite. Actually, I think we talk more during dinner when the food is super good. And everyone knows if you eat slower, you fill up faster.
Chicken Cordon Bleu Pizza
We reimaged Chicken Cordon Bleu to bake it or air fry the chicken. The skinny chicken cordon bleu is one of my all-time favorite recipes. It cuts calories while keeping all the great flavors. We bashed this chicken cordon bleu pizza off our baked recipe.
During Football season we actually made this and were so surprised how truly delicious it turned out... so we had to make it again last night. Also, I really wanted a pizza but didn't want tomato sauce based. So we decided, let's try the chicken cordon bleu pizza again to see if it really was as good as the first time. Guess what??? It was actually better. This time we wrote down the recipe and decided we needed to share it with our friends.
We love pizza! And love trying to cut the calories, so we came up with these other flavors. Check them out: Mushroom Four cheese Pizza, Spicy Pesto Chicken, Jalapeño Bacon Cheeseburger Knots, Tuna & Corn, Stuffed Portobello Mushroom, Spinach Artichoke Dip Pizza, and several more
