If you're looking for a great alternative, then pork tenderloin is a fantastic option.

I absolutely love all kinds of pork. As a matter of fact, I love all kinds of meat! If you present me with a juicy steak, I'll devour it and savor every bite. Although we try to limit our steak consumption to once every few months, we still indulge in other meats. One of our favorites is pork, which is a healthier alternative to beef. Pork tenderloin is a perfect choice as it is a lean cut of meat. It's also easy to prepare and makes for a great party dish. People love a build-your-own pork tenderloin sandwich, and it's a crowd-pleaser. You really only need the tenderloin, some bread, some mustard, horseradish, and maybe mayonnaise.

Don't get me wrong, if I'm at a party and I need to choose between pork tenderloin and chicken wings.  I'm going with the wings every time.  So, at our Superbowl party, we serve both!  And I'm not sure which one I will choose just because they are both so good.  Who am I kidding?.... I'm having some of everything! Also, The other day, we were at the grocery store, and they had a sale on, yes, you guessed it, Tenderloins (buy one and get one free).  So yes, we are definitely serving a Pork Tenderloin at our Super Bowl party. How easy is it to make a pork tenderloin?

Our tenderloin recipe is so easy and can be made in less than 20 minutes.  No one will know that it didn't take you a long time to make.

All this takes is to season the pork tenderloin with cumin, salt, and pepper to your liking.  Then, in a large ovenproof sauté pan, sauté the tenderloin until golden brown on all sides.  Move the pan to a 425-degree oven and roast the tenderloin for 10 minutes.   Using a meat thermometer, check the internal temperature of the pork to make sure it is at the doneness you want.

Pull the pork tenderloin out of the oven - use a hot pad - it really hurts if you don't!!!  Yes, I burn myself a lot, I'm sure I don't have fingerprints, let alone the top layer of skin on my hands....but my hands are very soft.

I like to let the pork sit for 10 minutes or so.  After that, just cut the pork tenderloin, set out some rolls and mustard, and let people eat.  Oh, don't forget the horseradish if you want it a little spicy.
