- 2 pound Pork tenderloin
- 2 teaspoons Cumin
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Sprinkle cumin, salt, and pepper on all sides of the pork tenderloin.
Add olive oil to an oven-safe saute pan.
Place pork tenderloin in the saute pan.
Brown tenderloin on all sides.
When all sides of the tenderloins are browned, place the pan in the oven. Bake the tenderloin in the oven for 10 minutes. Cook it longer if you want the tenderloin well down. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature and ensure the pork is cooked all the way through. Remember, the pork will continue to cook after you remove it from the oven.
After removing from the oven, let the tenderloin rest in the pan for about 10 minutes. Slice tenderloin and serve.
We like to serve the tenderloin with mustard, horseradish, and crusty dinner rolls.
