Preparing Chicken Wings in various ways is something we thoroughly enjoy. These Sesame Chicken Wings are absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of kick. They are the perfect snack for Super Bowl season, although we can't help but feel a little sad that Tom Brady won't be playing this year.
Nevertheless, Tom Brady will always be remembered as a Super Bowl legend. As diehard New England Patriots fans, we have to admit that we're a little biased when it comes to football. But even if you're not a Patriots fan, we guarantee that you'll still love these wings. Yes, even Eagles fans!
Love, love love Chicken Wings - Perfect for The Big Game.
These wings are seriously addictive, with the perfect combination of sweet and spicy flavors. They pair perfectly with a cold beer as well.
To make these mouth-watering sesame chicken wings, you need to marinate them in garlic, soy sauce, honey, and peanut butter (yes, you heard it right) for at least 30 minutes. For even better results, marinate them for a couple of hours or even overnight. Trust us, the chicken will be juicier, and the flavor will be even more amazing. But if you can't wait that long, don't worry, they'll still taste great.
Chicken wings are known to have more calories than chicken breast, but baking or air frying them is a healthier alternative. To avoid overindulging, we also prepare baked chicken fingers to complement the wings. Furthermore, we always serve them with crisp veggies like celery and carrots.
Our Homemade Sesame Chicken Wing Marinade
We had a blast coming up with this marinade. If you like things spicier, feel free to add more cayenne pepper. Even Joshua, who isn't a fan of spicy food, loved these wings. He said that the sesame flavor and sweetness were perfectly balanced, and he couldn't get enough. And for the record, he's not a Pats fan either!
The marinade is made up of garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, peanut butter, chili garlic sauce, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. It's super easy to prepare and packed with flavor.
Serve sesame chicken wings with low-fat Ranch dip or Blue Cheese dip, along with celery, chicken fingers, and crunchy oven-baked french fries. You can also check out how we made this recipe using an air fryer and how we compared the two methods of cooking the wings.
We're sure you'll adore these wings just as much as we do! If you have a fun chicken wing recipe, please don't hesitate to share it with us. We're always eager to experiment with new recipes.
