Ingredients

Layer one

  • 2 Cans Black Beans
  • ½ Lime
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Optional
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Layer 2

  • 8 Ounces Lite Sour Cream
  • 2 Tablespoons Taco Seasoning
  • ½ Lime

Layer 3, 4 and 5

  • 1 Cup Salsa
  • 1 ½ Cup Guacalmola
  • 6 Ounces Colby Jack Cheese Or Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

Layer 1

  • Drain and rinse the black beans.

  • Squeeze the juice of half a lime onto the beans and then mix in the cumin, garlic powder, cayenne, and salt. Give it a good stir to evenly distribute the spices throughout the beans.

Layer 2

  • Mix the sour cream, taco seasoning, and half a lime juice together.

  • Spread this mixture over the beans

Layers 3, 4, and 5

  • Spread your favorite salsa over the sour cream mixture
