- 4 Slices Bacon
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 1 ½ Cups 1% Milk
- ⅛ teaspoon Salt
- ⅛ teaspoon Pepper
Cut Bacon into small pieces
Cook Bacon. Leave approximately 2 Tablespoons of Bacon Grease. (If bacon was fatty, you may need to drain some of the grease off.)
Add the flour to the bacon grease and stir. Cook for one minute.
Stir in Milk
Keep stirring the mixture over medium heat until the gravy thickens.
Add Salt and Pepper to taste
Taste! If you need more salt and pepper, add a small amount at a time. Keep in mind that you can always add more, but you can't take it out!
