Baked French Fries: A Delicious Anytime Snack

Ingredients

  • 1 Potato Russet Potatoes work best
  • 1 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper or fresh Peppers
  • 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Clean and Cut the potato into strips.
  • To make crispy potato fries, prepare a baking sheet by lining it with nonstick aluminum foil. Then, place the potato strips on the foil and lightly spray them with olive oil (about 1 tsp) or cooking spray. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper to taste. Finally, bake the fries in the oven for 25 minutes.

  • Flip the potatoes. Return the fries to the oven and bake for 10 to 20 more minutes or until they are crispy.

Notes

If you cut the potatoes a few hours before cooking. Place the potatoes in water so they don't turn brown. Skip this step if you are going to immediately bake fries
