Best Bratwurst with Peppers and Onions

- 5 Bratwurst Or Italian Sausage
- 12 Ounces Beer Use your favorite beer or the beer you will be drinking with the bratwurst
- 1 Large Green pepper
- 1 Large Red Pepper
- 1 Large Onion or 2 Medium Onions
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes More or less Red Pepper Flakes- depends on how spicy you want the peppers
- To cook Bratwurst, place it in a saucepan and add beer along with one cup of water to cover the Bratwurst. 
- To prepare, bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Then,  slice the onions, green and red peppers. 
- While the Bratwurst is cooking, heat olive oil in a saute pan. Then, add sliced onions, garlic, and salt.  To cook onions, sauté them until they start to change color and become soft, which should take around 3 to 4 minutes. 
- Add the green and red peppers to the onions and stir.  Cook the onions and peppers until they become tender. 
- Take out the Bratwurst from the Beer and put it into the onion mixture. 
- Add the crushed red peppers to the Bratwurst, onions, and peppers mixture and stir well.   Add one cup of water to the mixture. 
- Simmer the bratwurst, onions and peppers for 10 to 15 minutes. 
- Serve with buns 
- Place some delicious Bratwurst, onions, and peppers on a warm Bun, and savor every bite.
