Best Bratwurst with Peppers and Onions

- 5 Bratwurst Or Italian Sausage
- 12 Ounces Beer Use your favorite beer or the beer you will be drinking with the bratwurst
- 1 Large Green pepper
- 1 Large Red Pepper
- 1 Large Onion or 2 Medium Onions
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes More or less Red Pepper Flakes- depends on how spicy you want the peppers
To cook Bratwurst, place it in a saucepan and add beer along with one cup of water to cover the Bratwurst.
To prepare, bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Then, slice the onions, green and red peppers.
While the Bratwurst is cooking, heat olive oil in a saute pan. Then, add sliced onions, garlic, and salt. To cook onions, sauté them until they start to change color and become soft, which should take around 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the green and red peppers to the onions and stir. Cook the onions and peppers until they become tender.
Take out the Bratwurst from the Beer and put it into the onion mixture.
Add the crushed red peppers to the Bratwurst, onions, and peppers mixture and stir well. Add one cup of water to the mixture.
Simmer the bratwurst, onions and peppers for 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve with buns
Place some delicious Bratwurst, onions, and peppers on a warm Bun, and savor every bite.
