Homemade Tartar sauce
- ½ Cup Lite Sour Cream
- 2 Tablespoons Dill Pickles
- ½ Tablespoon Capers
- ½ Tablespoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon Dill
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- Zest of ¼ Lemon
Air Fry Fish
- 1 Pound Cod
- 2 Cups Corn Flakes
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Corn Starch
- ½ Lemon
- Cooking Spray
Tartar Sauce
Measure and place in a bowl: Sour Cream, Chopped pickles, capers, Dijon mustard, dry dill, garlic powder, salt, lemon juice, and lemon zest
Mix together: Sour Cream, Chopped pickles, capers, Dijon mustard, dry dill, garlic powder, salt, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
Air Fry Fish
Mix together in a food processor: Corn Flakes, paprika, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Dry Mustard, and Salt
Beat Egg
Squeeze Juice of ½ Lemon on Fish
Sprinkle the Corn Starch on the Fish
Dip Fish into Egg
Put the breading on a plate and place Fish on top.
Coat Fish with Breading. Gently press breading into the Fish
Spray Air Fryer with cooking spray
Place Fish in Air Fryer and Spray with Cooking Spray
Cook in Air Fryer at 375° for 8 minutes.
Flip the Fish over and lightly spray it with cooking spray. Cook at 375 for 4 additional minutes.Remove fish from the air fryer Place American Cheese on the bottom of the bun (I like to heat the bun in the microwave for 20 seconds to make them softer prior to putting the cheese on)
Place crunchy cooked fish on top of the cheese
Spread tartar sauce on the top half of the bun
Place the top half of the bun on the fish to complete the sandwich
