Ingredients

  • 2 Large Pork Chops
  • 3 Ounces 97% fat-free smoked ham thin sliced
  • 4 Tablespoons Herb Flavored Cream Cheese Any type of Herb flavored cream cheese can be used. Or use plain cream cheese add 1 Tablespoon of Herbs (Sage, Thyme, and Oregano)
  • 2 teaspoon Coarse Himalayan Sea Salt About a teaspoon per side
  • 2 teaspoon Ground black pepper About a teaspoon per side
  • Small Thai Peppers Optional
  • 2 Pieces of Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil

Instructions

  • Place One Tablespoon Herb Flavored Cream Cheese in two slices of thinly sliced ham
  • OPTIONAL: Add fresh Thai peppers for that kick of spice
  • Place the ham cream cheese rolls in the freezer for at least 30 minutes. This keeps the cheese from melting away while cooking
  • Butterfly the Pork chops
  • Salt and Pepper the Pork Chops on both sides. Let the Pork Chops set at room temp for 30 minutes
  • Heat up Grill so it is pipping hot!!!
Place the Pork Chops on the grill to get nice Char marks. NOTE: Don't force-flip the pork chops. They will easily flip when they have a nice char and are crispy outside
  • Place Pork Chops on Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil on the grill. This ensures you won't lose any of the cheese!!!
  • Add the frozen Ham and Cheese to the Center of the Pork Chops
  • Hold Pork Chops together with toothpicks
  • Cover the grill and cook for about 20 - 30 minutes or when the meat thermometer shows the pork chops are done
  • When Pork Chop is done remove it from the grill and drizzle the drippings over the chops
  • Check out the melted cheese and juice
  • Enjoy! We had grilled veggies as a side dish. Both were so delicious
