- 6 Pounds Chicken
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Thyme (fresh)
- 2 teaspoons Rosemary (fresh)
To start preparing, preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Next, slice the garlic into thin strips.
Remove the chicken "packet" from the chicken.
Slice small cuts into the chicken breast, wings, and legs.
Insert Garlic into the slices of the chicken
To season the chicken, sprinkle a mix of paprika, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt over it
Place fresh thyme inside the chicken
To add flavor to your chicken wings, try wrapping fresh rosemary around them.
Put the chicken in the baking dish with the breast side facing downwards. Pour one cup of water into the dish.
To bake the chicken, preheat the oven to 425 degrees and bake for one hour. After an hour, flip the chicken over so the breast side is up. Then turn down the oven temperature to 375 degrees. Continue baking for another 30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked, which can be confirmed with a meat thermometer reading of at least 165 degrees.
Once you take the chicken out of the oven, allow it to rest for a minimum of 15 minutes.
Enjoy!!!!
