Homemade Cherry Tomato Sauce
Cherry tomato sauce is easy to make and comes out sweet and tangy. Fresh cherry tomatoes, herbs, and garlic combine for a taste of summer.

- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 6 Cups Cherry Tomatoes
- ½ Tablespoon Sea Salt
- ¼ Cup Fresh Oregano or Basil
Rinse off Cherry Tomatoes.
Heat some olive oil in a sauté pan until it starts to glisten, which should take around 30 seconds. Add the sliced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic softens.
Add the tomatoes and salt to the saute pan
Cook until the tomatoes start to get soft and start to burst. About 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat on the cooktop. Add the chopped oregano or basil. Taste to make sure it has enough salt. Be careful it is HOT!!!
To freeze the sauce: First, let the sauce cool down and then use a spoon or a container to pour it into freezer bags or a freezer-safe container. After filling, lay the container flat in the freezer. It is essential to freeze the sauce immediately so that you can enjoy it in the winter season. You can also add it to your favorite pasta or pizza.
