- 2 Cups Strawberries
- ⅓ Cup Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice (appx ½ Lemon)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
First, wash the strawberries thoroughly and then remove the stems.
Slice the strawberries

Combine sliced strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of water in a saucepan. Cook on medium to low heat, stirring occasionally, until the berries break down, which usually takes about 8 to 10 minutes.
⅓ Cup Sugar, 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
Take the mixture off the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
