1PoundPasta(Fettuccini, Fusilli or use your favorite pasta)

Pesto
Zest the lemon
Add Basil, Parsley, Garlic, Lemon Juice, Lemon Zest, and Parmesan Cheese to a food processor. Also, add Pepper if making it spicy.
Start blending and slowly add the olive oil
Blend until the pesto is the consistency you want. Set Aside
Shrimp
Clean the Shrimp
Roasted Garlic (See Recipe on this blog)
Add Zest and Lemon Juice to Shrimp.
Add Roasted Garlic to Shrimp
Mix together and marinate for 15 minutes
Heat One Olive Oil Tablespoon in a Sauté pan. About 15 to 20 seconds.
Add Shrimp to the Sauté pan and Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Pasta
While the shrimp is marinating, start the pasta water. When the water starts to boil, add 2 Tablespoons of salt.Cook Pasta al dente (according to the box). Use your favorite pasta, such as Fettuccini, Fusilli, or BucatiniWhen the Pasta is done, add it to the Shrimp.
Add ¼ to ½ Cup of Pasta water with the Pasta and Shrimp
Stir the Pesto into the Pasta/Shrimp. Turn off heat
