To prepare the ingredients, either chop, crush, or slice the garlic and chop the oregano or basil. Heat the olive oil until it starts to glisten, which takes about 30 seconds. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the garlic starts to soften.
Add the tomatoes and salt
Cook until the tomatoes start to get soft and burst open. About 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat on the cooktop. Add oregano or basil. Taste to make sure it has enough salt. Be careful it is HOT!!!
