- 2 Cups Broccoli
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- ½ Tablespoon Ginger Powder
- 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- ½ Tablespoon Salt
- ½ Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 ½ Cup General Tso Sauce We used store-bought General Tso sauce. If you'd like to make your sauce, you can find the recipe in the blog post above.
- 8 Dried Peppers Optional
- ½ Tablespoon Sesame Seeds Optional
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Place chicken on a Sheet Pan (I like to cover the pan with foil or parchment)
Mix the spices (Ginger powder, black pepper, cayenne, salt, and garlic powder).
Toss 1 ½ Tablespoons of the seasoning on the cut up chicken
Place chicken in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes.
If you want this spicy, add the dried peppers to the General Tso Sauce and set aside.
While the chicken is cooking, cut up the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Toss the broccoli with the olive oil.
Add the remaining seasoning mixture to the broccoli.
Add the broccoli to the chicken and bake for an additional 10 minutes
Pour the General Tso's sauce over the chicken and broccoli and bake for 5 minutes. NOTE: We used store-bought General Tso sauce. If you'd like to make your own sauce, you can find the recipe in the blog post above.
Optional-Sprinkle the top with sesame seeds.
Serve over rice, and enjoy!!!
