Spicy Grilled Caesar Salad with this Habanero Pepper salad dressing is so refreshing and is a great side dish for a big juicy grilled steak. Plus, it has a nice zip!!

Ingredients

  • 2 Heads of Romaine Lettuce
  • ½ Tablespoon Habanero Pepper Optional
  • 2 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • ½ Tablespoon Roasted Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespon Olive Oil
  • 1 Lemon (Juice and Zest)
  • 4 Green Onions

Instructions

Grill lettuce, habanero pepper, onions, and lemons

  • Cut the Lettuce in half lengthwise. Spray the lettuce lightly with Olive oil. Sprinkle the lettuce with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Grill Lettuce. Grilling time depends on how hot the coals are and the freshness of the lettuce. Once the lettuce starts to char, it's ready to flip. - About 3 minutes, and then flip.

  • The Lemons will get a nice char. I always flip them to heat up the bottom of the lemons. Only for a couple of minutes.

  • Mix together the chopped Habanero Pepper, Garlic, Dijon Mustard, Red Wine Vinegar, and Olive Oil.
