Ingredients

  • 3 Pounds Country Ribs

Seasoning for Ribs

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Optional
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder

BBQ Sauce

  • 1 Cup BBQ Sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Mustard Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Optional only if you want it spicy

Instructions

  • Mix together the seasoning. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  • Place the ribs in a casserole dish. Sprinkle the seasoning on the ribs.
  • Add ¼ cup of water to the casserole dish.
  • Cover the dish with foil. Place the ribs in the oven and bake for 2 ½ hours.
  • Remove the ribs from the oven
  • If you want to spice up your store-bought BBQ Sauce - Mix together the BBQ sauce and spices (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, mustard powder, and cayenne pepper). If you don't want to change the sauce, skip this step.
  • Brush on the BBQ sauce to the county ribs.
  • Place the ribs back in the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Enjoy - serve with additional BBQ sauce.
